Welcome to the EIP Prep Application
In 1987, George Mason University established the Early Identification Program (EIP) to support students who will be the first in their families to attend college. EIP empowers students to become productive and responsible global citizens and achieve their goal of attaining higher education. Students who successfully complete EIP with a 3.2 GPA or higher are automatically admitted into Mason.
The EIP Prep is designed to support students academically and personally through numerous activities and events. We provide weekly tutoring, mentoring, and a host of seminars that focus on college admissions, financial aid and paying for college, goal setting, and study skills. We also provide a family seminar for students and parents that focuses on family communication, advocacy, and planning for college. Students who successfully complete EIP Prep will transition into the EIP for grades 9-12.
